We are dog friendly at Burradon Farm and welcome your family pet to stay with us!
There are miles and miles of waggonways to explore straight from the door of your cottage. Weetslade Country Park is nearby, or try Rising Sun Country Park, Holywell Dene or Plessey Woods to name a few.
See if you can find the Giant Spoon – one of Northumberland’s quirky pieces of hidden art. It’s just a 30 minute walk from your cottage (just ask for a top secret map!).
Most of our doggy guests have been on ‘the loop’, a great 20 minute circular route around the perimeter of the farm, perfect for a morning or evening stroll.
We are also lucky to have a fantastic choice of beautiful dog friendly beaches on the North East coast – too many to mention!
Going inland, there are countless stunning country walks to enjoy, over hills, through forests, alongside rivers and around lakes.
Don’t forget to sample one of the many dog friendly pubs and cafes in the area too. Pub gardens and cafes with outdoor seating are abundant and welcoming visitors once more.
We do have a few doggy house rules which help to keep Burradon Farm a great place for both humans and dogs and thank guests for following these during their stay!
Keep an eye on our Facebook page for dog friendly walks and activities!
