On a snowy day in February we had our annual VisitEngland star rating assessment. We are inspected every year to make sure that we meet all of the standards required by VisitEngland. It is a sure way to let visitors to know what they can expect when staying with us.
We were thrilled to retain our 4* – 5* Gold status at the end of the inspection. (Check out our Properties page to see the rating for each cottage). The assessor commented on our ‘spectacular housekeeping’, ‘high quality, professionally run operation’ and ‘extra special Covid-19 measures’ .
Our main priority is to ensure that your stay with us is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Our amazing team work really hard to maintain our high standards so this VisitEngland star rating is a wonderful affirmation of all of their brilliant work.
Guests will be pleased to know that we also have the ‘We’re Good To Go’ Industry Standard from VisitEngland. This recognises that we have followed Government and industry Covid-19 guidelines. It also confirms that we have a Risk Assessment in place as well as a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
We also hold the AA Covid Confident Industry Standard. This accreditation recognises that we have met the AA’s stringent criteria. It confirms that we have a risk assessment in place as well as safety measures and staff training in line with government guidelines.
We pride ourselves on our high standards of housekeeping and hope that these awards reassure all of our guests that their comfort and wellbeing is our top priority.
