Those summer vibes are here and we are looking forward to welcoming guests to stay with us at Burradon Farm!
We still have some availability over the summer holidays and have now reduced our minimum stay to 3 nights. Why not take a short break to enjoy all that Northumberland and the great North East has to offer?!
We have so many beautiful beaches within a short drive – perfect for a swim or just to dip your toes.
There are many historic castles, priories, forts and ruins to see during your stay. Take a drive up to Hadrian’s Wall and explore Roman sites at Vindolanda or Housesteads.
Wander around beautiful gardens and stately homes at Alnwick, Belsay, Cragside, Wallington or Gibside.
There’s plenty of rainy day activities too. Tynemouth Sea Life Centre, Go-Karting, escape rooms, indoor golf and bowling to name a few. There’s also lots of cinemas, independent and chain, to sit back and enjoy the latest movie in comfort.
Outdoor activities such as Go Ape, paddleboarding and kayaking are great fun. Or why not enjoy strawberry picking, an adventure farm visit or Northumberland Zoo.
Shop till you drop in Newcastle or the MetroCentre or browse the many local markets and independent shops in the area.
Chill out over brunch or lunch on Newcastle Quayside, or enjoy one of the many cafes and restaurants on the coast. Tynemouth, Whitley Bay, Cullercoats and North Shields all have a lovely Summer vibe with pavement cafes and independent outlets to enjoy.
Take a walk straight from the door along one of the many waggonways or follow one of the routes of the Tyne and Wear Heritage Way which passes through the farm.
Or just relax. Enjoy our beautiful cottages and the peaceful surroundings. Put your feet up, read a book, have some me time…
