Jacobswell House is a noble name for one of our largest houses, which is graded 4* Gold by VisitEngland. ‘Jacobswell’ is registered with the Museums and Antiquities Society as the site of the main provision of water for the farm steading built around 1850. With plenty of room for 8 guests, Jacobswell has a wonderful entertaining kitchen with separate cosy living room for nights in front of the fire, or enjoying the stunning views from the panoramic windows.

First Christmas back home in 13 years. Burradon Cottages was the perfect location to host a Christmas gathering for our local family. An excellent cottage, very comfy beds, very well equipped, excellent outdoor space and always enough wind for kite flying! We loved the supply of story books - very useful for bedtime - and the local information provided. We enjoyed walks from the door and visiting the animals. Overall, we thought it was fantastic! Once again, a fantastic stay at Burradon Farm cottages. Having the larger house this time meant that a number of family members could be together as we prepared for and reflected on the amazing day of my daughter and son-in-law's wedding.The house provided us with space to decorate wedding cakes and sit down to large family meals. In between, we toured the stunning coastline and enjoyed just having 'down time' here in the cottage. Being able to have our dog with us is always a bonus. Thnak you, until next time!
