Christmas festivities are just around the corner and all of our cottages are fully booked. We are looking forward to welcoming our guests and hope they have a very Merry Christmas at Burradon Farm!
Many of our guests are visiting family and friends to share Christmas and New Year celebrations with them. Our cottages give guests plenty of space to entertain or just to kick back and relax.
Why not see in the New Year in Newcastle city centre? With laser lights, music and plenty of restaurants to enjoy, it’s the perfect place to help you to welcome in 2023!
We still have a few cottages available for New Year if you fancy a short break to enjoy the celebrations. Whether you’re looking for a cosy cottage for two or a family getaway just check out our availability online.
There are loads of activities taking place in the area at this magical time. Why not indulge yourself at one of our local bakeries, cafes or restaurants? You can walk those treats off on one of the lovely walks straight from your door. Or wrap up warm and head to the beach to enjoy the breath-taking coastline nearby.
Enjoy the Winter Wonderland fairground at Newcastle Racecourse, visit Santa Claus or marvel at Fenwicks Window. Take in a local National Trust or English Heritage site – Seaton Delaval Hall is wonderful at this time of year!
Don’t forget shopping! There are so many options from high street stores and markets to independent shops and local galleries. Visit one of our pretty towns and villages nearby and support our local businesses.

And when the festivities are over, it’s a great time to take an out of season break at Burradon Farm. We are open all year round and are a perfect place to enjoy some rest and relaxation.
