Another magic rugby weekend in Newcastle! The Dacia Magic Rugby Weekend is returning to St. James’ Park on the bank holiday weekend of 23rd – 24th May 2020. 12 teams will face off across six action-packed fixtures.
The showpiece rugby league event had a hugely popular five-year stint at the home of Newcastle
United between 2014 and 2018, attracting record crowds for the competition.
Superleague fans will be delighted to return to St. James’ Park. It has developed a reputation as a world-class venue for both codes of rugby in recent years, hosting three international rugby union matches in the Rugby World Cup in 2015 as well as England’s final warm-up fixture before this
year’s finals in Japan.
At club level, the stadium has played host to two of Newcastle Falcons’ Premiership fixtures in
2019, as well as European Rugby’s most prestigious finals – the Heineken Champions Cup and European Challenge Cup.
The event draws in tens of thousands of rugby fans who enjoy a carnival style atmosphere around the city to match the fast paced rugby on the pitch! Keep an eye out for fixture and ticket information soon.
Burradon Farm is conveniently located only a short drive from St James’ Park. We are taking bookings now for the Dacia Magic Rugby Weekend – don’t miss out on first class accommodation to complete your fantastic weekend!
