Wheatlands Cottage offers exceptional accommodation and is wheelchair accessible and dog friendly. Wheatlands Cottage was absolutely amazing – very warm, huge, well equipped and very clean. It was perfect for our daughter who uses a wheelchair. It was so nice that we have booked to stay there again in March!
We have stayed at Burradon frequently in the last 3 years and Buttermilk Cottage is one of our favourites. It’s extremely spacious, well equipped and cosy. We call it our 2nd home now. We stay often because of visiting family in the area and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It is well placed for visiting Northumberland too!
Pele Cottage is a fabulous cottage! We loved our stay at Burradon Farm in Pele Cottage. It has everything you need “home from home” and is clean and tidy. The cottages are in a great quiet location close to shops and beaches and all local attractions. I would recommend to anyone to book at Burradon – there is a cottage for all requirements, staff are always polite, friendly and are always contactable if you ever need anything, which we never have.
Forge Cottage is a superb cottage, very spacious and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable with everything you need and lovely comfortable beds. There are plenty of walks from the cottage and Beamish is only 30 minutes drive to spend a great day out.
Burradon Farm offers superb cottages on the edge of the Northumbrian countryside. I have lost count of the number of times we have stayed at Burradon Farm Houses & Cottages but every time we have, we have had a wonderful time. On our most recent visit we stayed at Haselor House which, like all the other cottages we have stayed in, was clean, comfortable, cosy and very well appointed. The cottages are in an excellent location, only a few miles from Newcastle city centre but also on the edge of the beautiful Northumbrian countryside. I cannot recommend Burradon Farm Cottages highly enough.
We stayed in Maltpool Cottage for 3 nights and had a great weekend away. The cottage is so lovely, very spacious, clean and so well equipped. Staying here was excellent for our weekend in Newcastle attending the Great North Run and we will be looking to book again for a full week in the future.
We’ve stayed in many cottages at Burradon Farm over the years and Rose Cottage is definitely our favourite. It’s everything it’s claimed to be and more. It is well located with everything you could possibly wish for. The cottages are all tastefully decorated and very well maintained. The owners are lovely and certainly know how to look after their guests. If you’re coming to the North East, look no further. Suffice to say we’re a returning customer and will be back for more of the same as soon as we can. Thank you team Burradon! Oh, and our small dog loved it too!
Swallow Cottage was perfect for a power chair user. The bathroom was well equipped, large and easy to use. The cottage was roomy, comfortable and a pleasure to relax in. The whole experience was outstanding from booking, finding the keys, to the pleasant surprise that cottage exceeded our expectations. It was great to have somewhere comfortable to relax when the weather was bad. Burradon Farm Houses & Cottages are well located for the coast and all the major tourist attractions. We had a great time.
My family loved Briarhill House! The best place ever honestly! My family came from Angola for my wedding so we had 3 weeks stay in this fantastic place and it was beyond our expectations, good location, great views and spacious rooms. The kids loved the outside space, the host was very responsive and helpful, recommended 100%
We love it here, this was our third visit to Chaff House. The house is beautifully clean and well equipped. The staff and hosts are so helpful and friendly, we would highly recommend Chaff House.
Honeysuckle Cottage is a lovely cottage in a nice rural spot. This is the first time we’ve stayed in the area and we couldn’t have picked a better location. The cottage is a nice clean 1 bedroom place with plenty of room and semi private garden. There are plenty of walks nearby and good places to eat nearby as well as good takeaways that deliver. The owners are very friendly too. Would definitely go back!
We had a lovely stay in Jacobswell House. The beds were very comfy and bathrooms all well equipped. There’s plenty of room in the kitchen for everyone to be in there cooking and socialising. Everything we needed was to hand and more besides. The lounge was cosy for a quiet evening in, plenty of room for everyone but also nice and airy in the summer. The location gives good access to a lot of the North East, buses into Newcastle from the end of the drive were very quick and main roads were nearby for trips further north. Definitely recommended.
