Autumn is definitely upon us! The days are getting colder and the nights are drawing in, but there is plenty to enjoy about this wonderful time of the year!
We’ve got October half term and Halloween to look forward to. And Christmas is approaching fast, so why not get in the mood and start to get a little bit festive?!
There’s so much to do this Autumn from pumpkin picking to spooky Halloween events. Or just wrap up warm and take a refreshing walk along the beautiful North East coast – don’t forget the dog!
With our spectacular beaches, parks and countryside there are lots of fantastic opportunities to tire the kids (and adults) out. And of course plenty of coffee and cake stops to be found along the way!
Why not bring your bike and enjoy some exhilarating rides out along the waggonways and cycle routes straight from the door.
There are lots of family attractions to experience such as Tynemouth Park, Tynemouth Aquarium and Go Ape. Or how about exploring one of the stunning castles and gardens in the area. We have so many fabulous ice cream parlours to choose from too – a perfect treat for everyone!
Fancy a spot of Christmas Shopping? Why not support one of our many independent stores or amazing local artists. Tynemouth, Whitley Bay, Morpeth, Hexham or Corbridge are all well worth a visit. Or pop to one of our local garden centres who all have great Xmas displays at this time of year!
Rainy days are perfect for puddle jumping and windswept beach walks or chilling indoors with a movie or a good book. Put the kettle on, grab a takeaway afternoon tea or evening meal and relax.
Our cosy cottages are perfect for groups of all sizes with a range of properties sleeping up to 8 guests. Dogs love the North East too and are very welcome at Burradon Farm.
