We find ourselves in Lockdown #2 from 5th November but are remaining positive! We are pleased to advise that we are OPEN for those who are allowed to stay overnight during lockdown.
Government guidance allows us to accept guests who have to stay overnight for work purposes. We are also allowed guests who need accommodation while moving house. If you are unable to return to your main residence or need accommodation to attend a funeral you can also stay. The full guidance is here, but please just contact us if you are unsure and we can check for you.
Sadly we are not allowed to accept any holidaymakers at this time. But why not book ahead for when you can travel?! Don’t forget our special offer, 15% off stays taken up to 26 March 2021 (excluding 18 December – 3 January).
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of my wonderful staff who have worked so hard since Lockdown #1 to keep standards our high and ensure that guests have a brilliant stay with us. We face a tough few months but are looking forward to welcoming you all back when the time is right.

For those of us staying at home during Lockdown #2, there are so many wonderful places to explore outdoors. Get on your bike and find a new waggonway to follow or walk along the banks of the River Tyne. Support a local coffee shop and grab a takeaway, hot chocolate and a sweet treat are perfect for this autumnal weather!
Most of all stay safe. Follow government guidelines: stay at home, keep your distance, wear a mask and wash your hands regularly. If we all do our bit then we can all get back to some kind of normality soon!
